Privacy Policy

At Birikte, we collect your financial and household data strictly to the extent necessary to provide the service, keep it within family boundaries, and never sell your personal data. This policy applies to our website (birikte.trionedk.com) and our iOS / Android mobile applications.
Data Collected
Account credentials, household and wallet records, expense / savings / debt transactions, device information, notification tokens, usage events, and (when ads are shown) advertising identifiers may be processed.
Payment
Family Pro subscriptions are collected via Apple In-App Purchase in the iOS app, and via PayTR on Android and web. Credit card numbers, CVVs, and similar payment instruments are never stored on Birikte servers; they are processed within the infrastructure of the respective payment provider. Apple's privacy policy and PayTR's privacy terms also apply.
Analytics
Application usage statistics are collected via Firebase Analytics / Google Analytics (sessions, screens, crashes, and similar events). This data is used to improve the product and troubleshoot errors.
Advertising
On the free plan, advertisements may be displayed via Google AdMob. AdMob may process identifiers such as device advertising ID and approximate location; when explicit consent for personalized ads is provided, these identifiers may be used for ad personalization. You can limit your consent in your device settings or in-app preferences.
Notifications
Push notifications are delivered via Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM). You can turn off notification permissions at any time in your device settings.
Real-Time Communication
Real-time updates such as challenge progress are delivered to users using SignalR technology. This communication is active only during your session and collects no additional personal data.
Bot Protection
Google reCAPTCHA is used on our contact form. reCAPTCHA may transmit your IP address and browser/device information to Google. Google's privacy policy and terms of service apply.
Cookies
On our website, only the ASP.NET Core session cookie is used. This cookie is strictly necessary for session management and expires when the browser is closed. No third-party advertising or tracking cookies are used.
Local AI Summary
When enabled, Family Pro monthly report summaries are generated on Birikte servers using self-hosted Ollama (qwen2.5). No third-party AI APIs are used. When this feature is turned off, only rule-based summaries are displayed.
Data Security
All communication is encrypted via TLS. Access permissions are strictly role- and household-based.
Data Retention
Your personal data is retained as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion request, your data is permanently deleted; however, records required to be retained under legal obligations (tax, commercial, and payment regulations) are preserved for the statutory period and destroyed thereafter.
Account Deletion
You can delete your account directly from within the application. Deletion is irreversible. Your email address is freed; you can later create a new, empty account with the same address. You will not have access to your previous household, wallet, and transaction records with the new account.
Password Reset
If you forget your password, a one-time code is sent to your email from within the application. The code is valid for a short time.
